Garden City's Cradle of Aviation Museum runs aviation + STEM summer camps for kids 7-14. Hands-on aerospace history, planetarium shows, flight simulators. Half-day + full-day options, single-week + multi-week sessions. The museum itself is one of LI's strongest family destinations year-round.

The Cookery — Seasonal Cooking Classes Long Island
The Cookery (Northport) runs hands-on cooking classes weekly — Italian, French, Mediterranean, seasonal seafood. 2-3 hour sessions, you eat what you cook, BYOB. The locals' move for a date night or small-group celebration that doesn't feel like 'going out to dinner.'

Long Island Children's Museum — Toddler Tuesday
Weekly Tuesday morning program for ages 18 months to 3 years. Toddler-pace activities, music circle 10:30, free play in the toddler-only space until noon. Included with general admission. The 9:30 opening slot is the quietest; the museum starts to fill by 11.

LICM Summer Music Camp — Drop-In Sessions
Drop-in music workshops for ages 3-7 at the Long Island Children's Museum's summer camp. Sing-alongs, instrument exploration, family parade at noon. No registration — included with general admission. Tuesdays + Fridays in July-August.
